Red Slugs (Arion rufufs) are native to east and middle Europe… but they’ve wandered out a bit. They are often confused with the Spanish slug (Arion vulgaris) which has dominated a majority of it´s habitat. Red Slugs are quickly becoming rare in their native habitat, so please don´t hurt them if you come across one there!
